A Spring And Summer Of Hard Work

As I write my first website post in over a couple of months, I try to have a positive spin on finishing up a demo for a song for the first time! I want to make sure that I can get my vocals as perfect as humanly possible for the track. I could use that microphone I got from the dollar store, or, I could simply use the phone speaker to hear my voice along with the bass, melody, and classic country guitar track. However I can get the song to sound as perfect as possible. I’m not talking as perfect as a longtime superstar, I’m talking as perfect as I personally can. That’s the only way a musician can get their story out into the world the most honest and genuine way. Whatever happens afterwards, happens. That’s the way of the world, that’s the way of life. Everyone knows this, everyone respects this. Everyone has their own timeline, and that’s okay. I’m slowly starting to see that, and remember that.
